Who I am
I'm a 32 year old Swede who's working as a freelancer making videos and taking photos. Ever since I was a kid I've been eager to see what awaits around the next corner, and I guess that's why film making and photography feels so appealing - it takes me new places where I meet new face, and it allows me to work with emotions and atmospheres that can inspire the viewers.
What I do
I have a wide range of skills incl filming, editing, color grading and directing. I put a lot of effort into mapping out the red thread in my stories to create a natural flow for the viewer. Timings and movements are key (if it feels right, it is right). I love building my films around personal portraits to bring forward emotions and authenticity that the audience can relate and connect to.
How I got here
After I graduated from Hyper Island back in 2010 and finished my design internship in San Francisco I went on vacation in New York. That's where I picked up my first camera ever - a Canon 550D - and for the next two weeks I walked around the streets, amazed by all the things there was to see, frame and capture. I instantly felt I had some sort of eye for it, and that my days as a pixel pusher was over. Instead, I wanted to travel, work with people, tell stories and capture emotions.
So I set out to educate myself within the field of film making & photography – starting with music videos, and soon getting a full-time job as a film editor at production house Pixl Family. Since 2014 I've been freelancing, both filming, editing and photographing for dfferent agencies and companies in Stockholm.
